Main steps

The Euforex project is divided into two principle phases: the first one, the preparation
phase, covered the period from the beginning of the project to September 2012 and is
fundamental for planning the second phase. This phase is based on, and exploits the
background of the project, with the objective of transferring the experience and knowhow
acquired by the Municipality of Reggio Emilia through “I Reggiani, per esempio”
(Reggiani, for example).
The second phase of the project (September 2012 – September 2013) focuses mainly
on the training of the volunteers and on the certification of their knowledge and skill.
The structure of the training modules and their implementation will be based on the
information gained from the territorial needs analysis, which provides an overview of
the volunteering world in the partner territories, revealing the point of view of the
interested parties and the strengths and weaknesses of active citizenship practices in
the various local contexts. Following on from this, it’s important to develop procedures
for communicating the results of the analyses to the operators involved in the project:
volunteers, non–volunteers and stakeholders.
With regards to relations with the latter category, the results from working with
influential operators (in the first year) will be exploited in this second phase through a
stakeholder relationship management policy.
The fourth and last objective of the second year of the project is sustainability of the
results achieved.
