The Third Sector Forum is an acknowledged social partner in this respect. Established on 19th June 1997, the Forum represents over 80 national organizations – with 94,000 local offices – operating in Italy in the fields of Volunteer Work, Voluntary Organization, Social Cooperation, International Solidarity, Ethical Finance and Fair Trade.
The principal objective of the Third Sector Forum is the promotion of the activities and experiences of independently organized citizens working in the local area to improve the quality of life, and of the communities, through processes – including innovative ones – based on fairness, social justice, subsidiarity and sustainable development.
